Independent advisory at the intersection of geopolitics, defence and public policy.
Founded in Europe with a global outlook, Sentinel bridges the gap between academic research, think-tank analysis and practical, mission-oriented consulting.

Mission-oriented. Discreet by design.
Sentinel Global Affairs & Strategy (SGAS) is an independent advisory firm specialising in geopolitics, defence and public policy. We serve governments, armed forces, security institutions and strategic industries that operate in high-risk political and security environments.
To help public authorities and strategic actors anticipate threats, design robust strategies and build resilient institutions — from Europe to the Indo-Pacific.
Why an independent house, and why now.
Sentinel was formed by senior practitioners who, after years inside ministries, armed forces and international institutions, concluded that the most consequential decisions of the coming decade would not be served by larger consultancies, public commentary or partisan platforms — but by a small, deliberately quiet practice that answers only to its principals. The firm publishes nothing, advertises nothing, and grows only when a mandate justifies it.
Four ways we work alongside our clients.
Integrated
We combine geopolitical, military, economic and technological perspectives.
Evidence-based
Rigorous research, open-source intelligence and structured analysis.
Co-creative
We work closely with client teams to co-design implementable solutions.
Scenario-driven
We use scenarios, simulations and wargaming to stress-test plans.
Boundaries we set, by design.
